Meet the maker

Yarnick's Farm

Yarnick's Farm, owned and operated by Dan and Lynette Yarnick, is a 200 acre diversified vegetable and livestock farm located in Indiana, PA. The farm was purchased by Fred Yarnick in the 1930s and has stayed in the family ever since. Each family member has put their own touch on the business Dan Yarnick's specialty? Vegetables. From little on, he has had a passion for growing things. In 1981, Dan introduced the first greenhouse onto the farm. These greenhouses allow the farm to produce local tomatoes, cucumbers, and more outside of their typical season, helping create a sustainable year round operation. This innovation and passion that Dan Yarnick puts into his farming is noticeable in the fresh juicy heirloom tomatoes, the coveted sweet corn, and the various bounties that the farm sells on Harvie!
